"Absolutely delicious soul food. The fried okra is the best I've had, the collards are fantastic and the pork chop sandwich was amazing! Chicken wings were good, but you won't find very spicy options here. The dark meat fried chicken sandwich was also very good. Come here and try anything on the menu including some creative drinks!"

"First time and will most def be back. Our for was amazing. We came for Sunday brunch even though the list was short it was very good. The service was very good. Our waitress was very polite and our good was perfect. It took a little time to get our order but you can tell it was made fresh to order Which made the wait worth it, we were the only people there for a little bit. Highly reccomend their brunch if you are looking for something simple but good"

"3rd time here.. & they never disappoint! I am literally thee most picky eater I know. I love country/soul food, my biggest off put is "I have a texture issue/phobia." Despite all of my personal problems... THEY DELIVER! I am currently having the best fried chicken I've literally ever eaten in my entire existence!! Great is an understatement. Good is mediocre!! Well above averageOR, absolutely will fight someone for the last piece.. IS THIS PLACE!! Delicious.. satisfying!.. OMG who taught you this? YOU have a gift & it IS COOKING!! Idk 1 person that works here, on a personal level, but THEY are up to SOMETHING..BIG!! Great service. Very professional. Minimal wait & every minute is worth it!! I LOVE CORNBREAD & they TO DATE have the best cornbread I've ever had in my life. Fried chicken the best, bout to get into this rice & collards now, but, I've had both before. NEVER have they disappointed. Comparatively speaking for "back home" in S.C, the prices are relatively high but I understand they ARE a business. Starting, can definitely be a struggle. Building a foundation, UP, takes time & money. With that being said, I will continue to support this business. I pray that they MAKE IT because "competition"!? There is NONE."

"We went here a the recommendation of a local. It was really good. My only complaint (not a really good one) is the food I ordered wasnt what I expected. I ordered the chicken and rice and I guess I was expecting something different when it came out. The chicken is mixed in with the rice, to include the bones so I had many of them in my bites of the dish. It was very good flavor wise. My wife ordered the oxtail and I guess I'm brainwashed on the carribean flavors so when I tried it, it wasnt what my mind was expecting. It too was very good. The Mac and cheese and potato salad was also very good. Im always reluctant to try Mac and cheese ata restaurant but this one was done right. It was creamy, and cheesy and not dry like most places. I definitely would eat there again and I highly recommend you give them a try when in Wilmington."

"My husband and I popped in for a quick lunch on a Saturday and 1504 Resto did not disappoint! From the friendly service, spotless restaurant, and most delicious food you can’t go wrong. Reasonably priced and very fast food delivery. I had a vegetable plate & he had a special of baked chicken with Mac & cheese. Everything was perfect and the cornbread could win any award! We would recommend 1504 Resto to an out of town guest it was so good!"
